Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We are Tim and Nancy, and being parents has been an incredible experience for us. We have always wanted John to have a little brother or sister and are greatly looking forward to that day. Nancy's two nieces were adopted, and we feel certain that God's plan for us to expand our family is through adoption. We can only imagine the difficult decision you are facing. If you choose our family, you can rest assured that your child will be loved unconditionally. We want to provide every opportunity for them to achieve their hopes and dreams. We are sending you our thoughts and prayers.

What it Means to Be Parents and Our Strengths
Being parents has been an incredible experience. We have such a love and respect for each other as a couple, and we couldn't wait to share that with a child. It has been amazing to watch John grow and develop, and we are so anxious to experience that again with a new addition to our family. We strongly believe in a child having a solid foundation from which to grow. With that in mind, we provide plenty of hugs, kisses and laughter. We set limits and expectations and then stick to them so that John always knows his boundaries. John is a happy child and regularly gives out hugs and "I love you's" that melt our heart. He loves to play outside, so evenings usually find us playing tee ball, horseshoes or kickball out in the yard. Then it is back inside for bath time, story time and bed. We each have our strengths as parents and take an equal role. Tim is patient and shows John how things work and works with him to build things with his blocks or Legos. Nancy talks to John a lot and reads books to help him understand the "why" of things-a question we get a lot! We have both learned that the time goes by so fast and that we must cherish every moment. We are so thrilled and excited about a new baby to share our lives.
Education We Will Provide
We are both believers in education. We are fortunate to live in a small town in one of the best school districts in the state. There is a low number of students per teacher, high test scores as well as many extracurricular activities to choose from. We plan to be very involved in our children's education from attending parent-teacher conferences to helping them with their homework to getting them help with their schoolwork if necessary. We have already started financially planning for our children's higher education. We will encourage them to seek out the field of study that is best for them and will
support where they want to attend college. Perhaps they will want to study a trade or perhaps they will want to go to law school. Anything is fine with us as long as they continue their education in a field that makes them happy.
Our Favorite Vacation Spot
Enjoying Some Beach Time
When we were first married, we began the tradition of going to the beach at least one time per year. We have since moved
farther from the beach, but we still make plans to go each
summer. It has been wonderful to see John love it just as much as we do. His first visit was when he had just turned one year old. It was hilarious watching him dig his little toes into the sand for the first time. He didn't know what to think of the giant sandbox! We make sure and balance some relaxing time while we are there as well as fun activities. We play on the beach, building sand castles and taking walks looking for shells. John especially likes walking on the beach at night with a flashlight and crab net looking for little crabs. There are plenty of family-friendly activities there like a water park, miniature golf, and bumper boats. One particular family favorite is going on a "dolphin cruise" where we get to see
dolphins playing in the ocean. We also like to go to a fishing pier and fish as well as watch others bring in their fish. We can't wait to bring a fourth little person into our family to enjoy these activities with us.
