| Our Extended Families |
Wanda’s family lives a few hours away in a small rural community. She is the oldest of 3 children. Her sister and brother are both married with children. Dee, Wanda's sister, has 2 boys and a girl. Noble, Wanda's younger brother has a boy and a girl. Wanda's entire family owns and works a very large farming business. It has been in the family since 1861.
Wanda's family places great emphasis on family gatherings. They use any excuse to get together and cook out on Sunday afternoons after church. A small gathering consists of 40 to 50 people.
Wanda's favorite memories are of Christmas Eves with her family. They ALL get together, exchange gifts and eat supper. The kids can't wait to see the first sighting of Santa Claus on TV. Our family time together is filled with lots of love and laughter.
To this day, Wanda and her entire extended family are amazingly close. They are always there to give advice and support. They are ecstatic about our decision to adopt a child and can't wait to have another baby in the family.
Matt’s parents and sister live just a few miles from us. His younger sister is married with 2 boys. His mother is retired and enjoys spending time with Matt and his sister. Matt's dad is a Sales Manager for a local filing system company.
Matt's fondest memories are his family trips each summer to the beach, where they spent most of the day fishing and crabbing from the river bridge. He talks often about how he teased and played practical jokes on his sister. Matt's parents are also ecstatic about our decision to adopt because they are ready to spoil another grandbaby.
Both of our parents have been married for over 30 years and have instilled their family values to us and that is family is the main priority in life. We cannot wait to become parents to your baby and add him or her to our loving family.

We recently bought our home for one reason - to expand our family. It is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a bonus room over a 2 car garage. Our bonus room has already been converted to a great playroom. The focal point of our home is the open kitchen, breakfast area and living room that over looks almost 2 acres. The backyard is fully fenced with a patio area, an awesome kidney shaped pool, 2 play gyms, a trampoline and lots of shade trees. Our house is very spacious, with big open rooms and high ceilings. Our comfortable home has lots of amenities and we are excited about the potential memories that this great home has to offer.
We love our neighborhood and community because of the liveliness and convenience. There is a public park (that always has holiday activities for kids), a brand new shopping mall and a 33,000 acre lake within 5 minutes of us. Our neighborhood is full of children eager to play and range in age from toddlers to teenagers. The neighborhood has an additional security feature of only one entrance and one exit. It is a wonderfully warm and an inviting place to live. Everyone is friendly and has the community spirit of looking out for each other. The church we attend is only a few miles away. We are also very fortunate to live in an area that has schools with excellent academic reputations and rank in the top tier among Mississippi schools.
