Dear Birth Parent(s),

We are so excited to be writing this letter to you. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and for considering us; we already deem ourselves fortunate to be considered to help raise your child. We understand that the decision you are considering must be one of the most difficult a mother could ever make and you should know that your decision should be respected and honored. In our family, this choice will always be held in high esteem and will never be kept from your child. We will also provide you letters and pictures of your child as he or she grows and develops from a wiggly baby to a toddler and further.

We are a loving family that lives in a wonderful city. We have an awesome church that is very excited and supportive of our decision to adopt. They are praying for us as we begin this process and are praying for the child that we will one day bring home. We met on a blind date and have been married for almost 10 years and have a wonderful time together experiencing new things and facing new challenges as each year passes. We have a very close group of friends that love to get together and just enjoy each other's company. Basically, you can say that we love every aspect of our lives and are very blessed. We cannot wait to share all of these wonderful blessings with your child!

We have a four and half year old and have been unsuccessful in having any more children after three years of trying. We feel led to have another child. We know that we are good parents. We know that we can adapt to a lot of adversity. We know that we love challenges and we know that we can offer your child a loving family that will respect, honor and acknowledge your sacrifice and choice.

Our family is focused on providing a Christian environment to grow in - this is true for us as parents and for our son. We promise to do everything possible to keep that attitude for your child. With Buck's parents as teachers, DeAndra's father being a vet and her mother a county-wide elected official, we also understand the value of education and will do everything in our power to nurture your child's mind and let him or her develop into everything he or she might dream. We know, from personal and family experience, that everyone has unique gifts and we will do what we can do develop those gifts.

We want you to know that we will be very open and honest with your child about his or her adoption. Boy or girl we are prepared to accept your child as part our family. We will help teach your child to face the world with strong morals, humor, faith and guts. We want to share with your child the joy and love that is found in our home. We want to play MouseTrap, watch funny movies, play in the backyard, ride bikes and read stories every night to your child! We would be grateful if you allow us to share our lives with you and your child!
